It’s probably been a while since someone asked you what you want to be when you grow up. The more time passes, the more tempted you become to quit your job to join the happy entrepreneurs you see as you scroll down your newsfeed. That passion project you thought about ages ago that could be a business if you just gave it the time and attention it deserved.
One day, while chatting about your ideas with your favourite AI, it finally convinced you to pursue your dream of financial freedom. You quit your job. On day one, you designed your website, described what you sell and waited for the world to start lining up to buy it.
Instead of them lining up to buy, it’s you who keeps spending more money as your bank account dwindles. You started to panic due to the lack of progress, grasping at any opportunity that came your way. Frustration built up as you wondered, “How could you have been so wrong?”
Everyone around you was telling you to just get a job. Alone in your room, you started to wonder if maybe they might be right, if maybe it was time to let go of your dream and get a job. Turning once more to AI, you get the same twelve ideas you’ve already tried. It seems like you’ve tried everything, but were you consistent with it?
Desperate for a new idea, you walk outside. Sunlight hits your face, as a stranger asks, “Do you have a product or service that you sell?” Dazed by the directness of the question, you answer, “Yeah, but I don’t know how to sell it.” The stranger looks at you with an empathic smile, “Let’s go for a coffee, I want to know more about your challenges.”
Relief washes over you as you head to a nearby cafe. Maybe they’ll have the idea you’ve been looking for. They nod along as you tell them about your business. In a moment of silence, they ask you a question that pierces straight through you, “What do you sell?” …
After a long pause, you finally admit you never clearly defined what you sell. You spent your time chasing ideas instead of building a clear offer and sticking with it.
“It sounds like you need a sounding board,” the stranger says. You tense, expecting a sales pitch you can’t afford, hoping they’ll even cover coffee so you won’t have to skip lunch.
“I’ve been where you are,” the stranger reassures. “You’re full of ideas, unsure which to pursue. I coach people like you to pick a path and stick with it long enough to succeed. Your project interests me, so I’d be happy to work with you on a paid or podcast basis. ” Relief washes over you at the thought of sharing your ideas with someone. Your AI buddy has been giving you more and more work to do instead of helping you hone your ideas.
By the end of your first session, you have a clear plan for the clutter you need to cut from your schedule and the tasks you need to focus on. Several sessions go by before you start to notice their results. Then, you notice a shift when, for the first time since you started, you earn enough to cover your expenses.
Now that you understand the value of your time, you focus on actions that move your business forward. Obstacles become opportunities because you know how to overcome them and grow.
The First Life Juggler

Do you want to hear a terrible idea? Start a business in a foreign country with a seven-month-old at home and a half-finished house. You will not have enough energy for everything, and it will break you as you try to keep up.
While these circumstances were admittedly not optimal for starting a business, I saw no other way to support my family, so I dove face-first into shallow water. Since then, I’ve learned a lot about myself, my limits, and the power of “no”. I’ve also teamed up with PC Guys, Novak Laser Company, and my Mom to build things that bring people together.
Now that I have learned how to say no, largely thanks to co-writing Monarch Migration with my Mom, I am ready to coach others who have a lot of ideas but do little about them to cut through them and turn them into action. Come learn the power of no to experience the magic of yes.
No compromises. No Excuses. Just Action.

Collaborative Communication
The Burger
Clarity in communication has always been my biggest challenge when working with people from different backgrounds. It has taken me 10 years, 7 countries and 2 new languages to design the burger above. A lot of pain (French for bread ) has gone into creating this burger, and it was worth it.
It’s hard to communicate effectively when you work with a mix of people from varied backgrounds. Everyone has a different way of doing things, and they all think their way is the best. Our goal is to focus on the process.
Through workshops, we create moments of collaboration to illustrate the power of community. If you are struggling to connect, feeling stuck, or just want to bounce your ideas off someone, Life Jugglers offers tools and activities to help you think out loud.
The Burger framework is a way to make inclusive plans that everyone involved will be happy about. Plans, that story we tell of the future, is best told from the perspective of the collective I. When we all understand what we are doing, and agree to do it, we get to be ourselves, whoever we are.
